Call for Papers on AISI 2015

Objective and Motivation

Nowadays, soft computational techniques have been applied to various fields including transportation network, social network, marketing, Remote Sensing image processing and others. Most of problems in these fields have become much easier to solve by applying these technologies which include fuzzy system, the bio-inspired algorithms, neural networks, rough set model which are currently attractive topic in wide variety of bioinformatics research areas. Moreover, the development of new intelligent system is often resulting of hybridization of different learning and adaptation of soft computing techniques. Such new approach can be used to address the limitations of individual techniques.

Scope and Interests

The purpose of the “ Advances in Soft Computing: Techniques and Applications” session is to bring scientists, researcher scholars, and students from academia and practitioners present ongoing research activities about both theoretical advances and applications of Soft Computing: Techniques and Applications and to allow the exchange of new ideas and application experiences face to face. Topics of interest include but are not limited to:
• Image Classification
• Image Segmentation
• Image Fusion
• Swarm optimization
• Machine learning
• Medical Image Segmentation
• Fuzzy Rough
• Graph database

Paper Submission and Publication

All submitted papers will be refereed by at least two reviewers for quality, correctness, originality, and relevance. The papers must be in the Springer single column format and 8-10 pages long. The paper may be sent to the online submission system hosted by EasyChair Conference System (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=aisi2015) or to the session organizers email ([email protected]) in this case the authors are kindly advised to let the session organizers know their submission in order to include them the Session). Proceedings of ASIS2015 (including the special session papers) will be published in Springer series Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing. It will be indexed by Thomson ISI, SCOPUS and DBLP. Extended versions of the best papers presented at this conference will be considered for publication in a Special Issues of internationally recognized journals.
